The Mulberry Bayswater | Bringing The Classics Back

The Mulberry Bayswater - Teal Croc Effect

The Mulberry Bayswater is such a classicTo me, Mulberry as a brand brings back memories of the original Mulberry Bayswater being something all of the girls at my school got for good grades (I’ll tell you now I was not one of those girls) in the classic tan flap over style. It’s so nostalgic.

The new classic Mulberry Bayswater has edge. Well mine does anyway. See that’s the beauty of it, you can pick and choose between colours, fabrics and prints to get something that’s truly you. Anddd if you’re a fan of my nostalgic bayswater then you’ll be happy to know they’re also still available.

I went for the new Mulberry Bayswater, the new classic. She’s got the buckle round the front and the zip on top for easy access. If you know anything about me you’ll know I’m not a black handbag kinda gal and I love a croc print. But I also love print in general. I was stuck between the navy stripe, the red patent croc effect and this beauty which I obviously went for. I don’t have a blue bag and quite frankly, I don’t think there’s a colour more neutral.

The Mulberry Bayswater | Bringing The Classics Back

We’re bringing the classics back with an edge. My inner private school girl is leaping with joy that I finally own a Mulberry Bayswater but my outer fashionista is all over that patent croc effect. And the gold buckle on front? I die. This is everything and more I could want in a classic go-to bag and am I the only one who is loving the new Mulberry branding?

I went for blue and cream overall because 1, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, and 2, it matches my bag duh. This shaggy knit is new, you may be confused because yes I do already have an identical one except at this point it’s pretty much bald. This one is plush and fluffy and the moment I set eyes on it I had to have it.

The skirt is also new, just adding to my denim collection because you can never ever have enough. The patchwork effect got me hook, line and sinker.

Mulberry is a brand that I have always loved and adored and I was so over the moon when a bayswater was unveiled under the wrapping paper on my 21st birthday. Mine is now a little dog-eared and beaten but still going strong 5+ years on. I’m desperate to get my hands on another but adulting is currently getting in the way. Love this black croc one though! It’s dreamy.
