Ah the little white dress, the cuter, softer round the edges little sister of the little black dress. I’m quite aware that I’m not actually wearing mine as a dress here but you see, that’s the appeal of it. Who doesn’t love a multifunctional piece?! I wore it as a dress here, and since then, I’ve fallen totally and utterly, head over heels for it.

The Perfect Little White Dress
Don’t get me wrong, I love the little black dress, it definitely is the most perfect piece you can always slip on and a total wardrobe staple. But to me, the little white dress is so much more for every occasion. For one, I can’t image wearing a LBD with a pair of jeans as a top, which is exactly what I’m doing right here. The ruffle layer hangs perfectly to make it look like a top, I can’t wait to wear this now the weathers warm too with my fave denim skirt, and of how it was intended, as a dress.
I’m loving this laid back look with my fave jeans. I always think accessorising is so key to a look like this, layered necklaces, bracelets, some statement sunnies and how amazing is this silk scarf from Crabtree & Evelyn? Also literally addicted to tanning right now, always need to be one shade darker! No better accessory than a tan right!?
