8 Great Mothers Day Gift Ideas

Mothers Day Gift Ideas 2020 - Jo Malone Lavender Collection

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share with you a mothers day gift guide and I’ve not done a gift guide in a while, or actually any kind of collage and I had so much fun making this one that I think there’ll be plenty more to come so watch this space! I always find mothers day gift ideas so much easier than fathers day gifts because you can just buy women stuff thats pretty and nice snd they want but men only want things that they actually need, which it turns out, isn’t much!

8 Great Mothers Day Gift Ideas

So I’ve come up with 8 amazing mothers day gift ideas that will have you sitting at number one daughter, or son, for a while! Let me run you through them! I’ve linked everything at the bottom and you can also shop the gift guide by just clicking on the picture of the item you want, I’ve got real hi-tech this time guys!

So the first is something I actually got as a gift myself from my sister and have gifted a couple of times to friends it’s just such a useful present, a travel jewellery box. Sold in so many stores but I always find Oliver Bonas are great for gifts like this and it comes in under £20 so great for if you’re not wanting to spend a lot but you still want to give her something thoughtful and useful!

The second gift is the Elemis rose radiance collection, a great one for if your mum is a beauty lover or a fan of the brand Elemis OR if you just think she deserves a little pampering! I personally use a lot of the Elemis products and find them really effective and lovely to use. In this set you get a body lotion ( I personally think a luxurious body lotion is way under rated ) a cleansing balm (my all time favourite product from Elemis and cleanser from anyone ever!) and a pro collagen face oil. If you don’t think this is something your mum would love but you want to treat her to something Elemis, check out their best sellers here or for more mothers day gift ideas from Elemis click here!

A candle is always a fail safe gift for any woman ever in the history of women. Preferably one that smells amazing and is far too nice to burn don’t go telling me you actually use your candles now!? There’s the usual suspects, Diptique, The White Company, Jo Malone, Molten Brown but I just feel there’s something special about the classic Diptyque Baies candle that you can’t go wrong with!

Now we’re moving onto something a little more expensive but don’t worry we’re not going to stick at this price point! These Monica Vinader earrings are such a beautiful classic style that your mum will wear every day and think of you whilst she puts them on or when she looks in the mirror, or every time she gets a compliment on them, which she will! They do have more affordable earrings which you can check out here if you want to treat her but not that much!

Back to the smellies and a brand I’ve already mentioned, Jo Malone. Of course there’s always the classic Pomegranate Noir that you literally cannot go wrong with but how about something from the new Lavender Land collection? The perfumes are sold separately at just £50 a pop or if you really want to treat your mum you could get her the Jo Malone Lavender Land travel pouch which comes with a perfume, a pillow mist and a candle all in a beautiful lilac Jo Malone bag.

Another super thoughtful and affordable gift idea is this pastel Stojo collapsible cup. If your mum loves her coffee or tea and is often on the go – who’s mum isn’t!? Then this is one of the great mothers day gift ideas! I love that it collapses making it easy to carry around and also hellooooo it is so chic! And, the best part of all? It’s £12.

A second piece of jewellery and slightly more affordable is this Pandora silver necklace with cubic zirconia. It also comes in rose gold and is just such a simple and classic style there’s nothing not to love. If you wanted to upgrade it even has a matching set of earrings. I always think Pandora is a great place for mothers day gift ideas and they’ve dedicated a whole page to them right here if you’re stuck! If your mum’s not a necklace girl then of course there’s always the classic charm bracelets.

Finally there had to be flowers in here and I wanted to include this set from Marks & Spencers because Jack got me roses from there for Valentines day and guys they are STILL going strong and beautiful! I am amazed! Definitely the best postal service flowers I’ve had!! Plus if you’re forgetful. it’s great because you can do it in advance and add in anything extra like chocolates or percy pigs if your mum is more of a sweet person, it comes with a card, you’re all sorted!

I hope I’ve helped you to get some ideas even if you don’t get anything I mentioned! If you have any other ideas that you can contribute I would love to hear it! Leave me a comment below and we can all help each other out!
