I’m in love with this statement coat from Aeterna Style, so much so that I don’t know how I’m going to bring myself to post it back to them – I want it to be mine! *Coat : Aeterna Style // Jumper : H&M Old  // *Jeans : Aeterna Style // *Bag : Pauls Boutique // *Shoes : Linzi Shoes // *Sunglasses : Plastic Tail Statement Coat When it comes to winter, which it briefly did for all of about 5 days? You live in your coat, am I right? I feel like you have to invest in more than one coat (as I keep telling my boyfriend) because that and your shoes are all people really see in winter! Thats why statement coats are so great, they add the wow factor to your outfit without even having to think, just chuck it on and hey presto your ready to go. I chose this one because of the oversized style and because of the colour palette. We all know I’m a lover of neutrals and whilst it’s still a statement coat it’s not so out there as some of the others available not the high street. Lace Up Lovin’ I’m so obsessed with my black lace up’s so it was a no brainer when I saw these on the Linzi website. I wasn’t sure about them being patent but actually I love them! The colour goes perfectly with these faded grey jeans, honestly the comfiest jeans ever! I’ve never really seen the allure of buying expensive jeans, but when you put them on you can seriously feel the difference. They’re so much comfier then you’re average Topshop Jamies (still love you Jamie) and have so much stretch in them! Aeterna Style I’m just so shocked that I didn’t even know that this little corner of the internet existed! I’m not usually one for splashing the cash as you will all know but I love that each piece is carefully chosen to stand the test of time. I think it’s great to support boutiques like this and it’s got a more personal touch to it, knowing how much care and attention has gone into picking each and every piece. Who else is loving those shades?! What are your favourite things to splash out on? Let me know if theres something I’m missing out on and need to try! How to Wear White Jeans in Winter

White jeans in winter is never really something I’d considered. To me, white jeans are exclusively a summer item that should be packed away with the floaty shorts and crop tops when October rolls around. However, I’m a big fan of Emily Luciano from LovelyLuciano.com and I’ve seen her rock white jeans in winter on the reg. To me, if she’s doing it, it’s ok. Which is what led to me doing it – such a copy cat! Hey no, it’s not copying – I’m influenced by her style. . Coat : Topshop Old // Jumper : Zara Old  // Jeans : Primark DIY (see how I did it here) // Shoes : River Island Limited Stock ( Similar Here) I have to admit I struggled with what footwear to finish the outfit off with. I love all of the neutrals together but most of my footwear is black and I found boots with this look a bit over powering, this however is perfect! Bringing back my favourite lace ups! I also recently got a pair like this in nude from Linzi shoes which would also look great, if I do say so myself! White Jeans in Winter So as I explained before it was the lovely Emily Luciano from LovelyLuciano.com who inspired me to try my hand at styling a pair of white jeans in winter. Not a combination I normally would have thought to work but hey, it does. I think you should try it too! I think it works well because I’ve kept it neutral with this jumper I found in my sisters wardrobe – seriously that place is like narnia, I need to visit more often! I’m loving the different shades of oatmeal in the knit, because its a lighter colour it’s not too harsh against the white. Do you know what I’m thinking though? I bet an all white look would look amazing in winter, if you had a white coat and – would you wear white shoes with an all white look? Honestly, sometimes I think shoes really bring an outfit together but sometimes they totally ruin it! What do you think to this look, would you or have you worn white jeans in winter? I definitely need to start having less rules for my wardrobe and mixing it up a bit – I mean if I’m going to wear jeans all the time I should at least wear different coloured ones right?! Shop the Look I’ve linked some bits below as most of the items in my look are old or sold out – sorry! I’ve found some pretty similar pieces though and I think I actually might prefer those lace up’s to mine, bearing in mind that mine are the devil and eat my feet whilst I walk around in agony! The Leather Biker Jacket // Part 3

I’m My favourite style of leather jacket by far is the biker jacket. It just oozes effortless cool and can make even the simplest of outfit’s look pulled together. *Jacket : Your Shores // Top : Primark // Skirt : Zara Old // *Wedges : Next Old  The Biker Jacket Whenever I’m going out for the evening I have to take my biker jacket, I can’t face the cold!! This ones great because it’s slightly cropped it cuts off perfectly to flatter the figure! I have one I love from Warehouse which I got in the sale a couple of years ago but it’s bum length which always seems to dress down my outfits for a night out! Styling Leather As I said before, styling leather is literally the easiest thing. The only rule I would say is to not do double leather but then again, if you had a chunky knit or something breaking it up then I don’t see why not! I always wear my black leather look wax coated jeans with my biker jacket and it looks fine, actually I think I pull off biker chic quite well, even if I do say so myself!! As always, don’t forget to check me out on Bloglovin and hit follow for many more great posts to come! All photographs taken by Kirk Schwarz. You can find his website here and instagram here!

Blue Jeans, White Shirt

Shirt : Topshop // Jeans : Next // Boots : Next // Bag : Zara A Classic Look Ok, so it’s no Audrey Hepburn Breakfast at Tiffany’s, but seriously, is there any look that’s more classic for the modern day gal than blue jeans and a white shirt!? Lana Del Rey said it, Homer Simpson’s a fan, what more do you need to know? I said it in yesterday’s post and I’ll say it again, I’d be happy wearing just blue jeans and a white shirt for the rest of my life. The Blue Jeans Blue jeans are pretty much my best friends in the whole entire world. They’re always there for me, they’re ridiculously comfy, and they look good with anything. My favourites generally come from Topshop, I’m a die hard fan of the Jamie style. I know what size I am and I know exactly how they fit, when it comes to jeans – stick to what you know!! I do want to find some cheaper alternatives though so if anyone knows of some I would love to know so I can try them out!! The White Shirt I love white shirt looks but I often find that white shirts are quite stiff. I hate that material. Like school shirts or something?! When I found this super soft Topshop one I was so happy. I love the boxy shape and the slits which make it so comfy and easy to move in. If you hadn’t cottoned on yet, comfort is key to my wardrobe! I  love the clean look of a white shirt, especially the oversized boyfriend style ones. I feel like they’re super sexy in an understated way. That Suede Coat

Coat : Forever 21 // Jumper : H&M // Jeans : Topshop // Boots : Next // Bag : Zara I would have begged, borrowed or stole to get this coat a couple of months ago! When I went on to Forever 21’s website and saw the price of it, under £60 for a genuine suede coat, I knew it was going to be mine. Round about this time my boyfriend had been asking about what I wanted for Christmas. Silly me put it on the list instead of just buying it, and this is where the emotional blackmail begins. When I first mentioned it I said I really wanted it and by the next week I’d threatened him with crying on christmas day if it wasn’t there. Constantly ringing him to say I’ll buy it don’t worry, emails with discount codes, more emotional blackmail and finally the magical day came with this beauty under the tree. . . totally worth it! I can’t stop wearing this exact outfit – well these jeans, that suede coat and the snake boots! I feel like because it’s so fitted it’s a real ladies coat. I can literally wear whatever I want underneath and I look smart! I’m telling you girls, all you need is the right pair of shoes with the right jacket and you’re gonna look good! All Photographs by Alexandra Wallace So! What do you think to my new coat?! Do you think it was worth the months of moaning and emotional blackmailing that it took for me to get it? I do! Let me know what you think and of course as always if you love my blog and you love me then why on EARTH are you not following me on Bloglovin?! Follow me here!! Shop the Look Unfortunately for you guys my suede beauty is now sold out! I have however linked another beautiful one I’ve got my eye on in Khaki!
