I’ve tried other trousers, I have and they just don’t look right, nothing will ever win my heart like a pair of jeans and I’ve finally decided to stop fighting it and just accept the fact that me and jeans are forever, what I’m trying to say is, jeans are my baes. *Shirt : Next // Jeans : Next // *Heels : Public Desire // *Bag : Pauls Boutique Why Being A Denim Girl is Great Jeans are Comfy If your jeans aren’t comfortable, you just ain’t doing it right. Chaneling Britney // Are Pinafores OK?

Chaneling Britney // Are Pinafores OK?

Are Pinafores OK? Never thought I’d be one to be wearing a pinafore dress but here I am, channeling Britney at her best. I actually really enjoyed styling this one up and was pleasantly surprised by the result, I loved playing with the contrasting lengths of the barely there skirt and the maxi cardigan, I think it works! Cardigan : Old // Top : Old // *Pinafore : PLB // *Boots : Daisy Street Are Pinafores OK? Personally, I’m all about the, its not what you wear it’s how you wear it. Some say you can’t polish a turd, I say, challenge accepted. Not that I’m calling pinafores turds. Ok, shall I start again? Despite the eye watering length, I actually really like this one from PLB, perhaps it’s my abnormal height that makes it so small, I think on a normal human it wouldn’t be so short! Part of the appeal to me is the button up, who can resist a button up detail on anything? Not me, as we all know from experience! Anyway, despite the fact that I know for a fact that if I wore this around my boyfriend he’s do his oh so predictable joke of “sorry, oh, yeah, the 90’s called, they want their pinafores back” I’m pretty sure I pull it off. Please say I do? Can we just take a minute to appreciate the awesomeness (yes I said awesomeness) that is Kirk’s photography skills? I’m loving the two photos above and the ‘blurriness’- I don’t know the lingo okay? The boots themselves are pretty damn hot, you can see my detailed opinion on them along with my advice on fit in my haul here. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m loving these longer length boots from Daisy Street, they’re just so much more flattering and I think it looks amazing with the cardigan. I definitely need to get this cardigan out more often, I find myself neglecting the older pieces in my wardrobe for the new shiny pieces. So what do you think? Are pinafores OK? and most importantly, do I pull it off? Shop the Look Don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin’ so you never miss a post! Peacocks // Creating A Pulled Together Look On A Budget

Peacocks // Creating A Pulled Together Look On A Budget

I have to admit, before I was approached about doing this post I hadn’t really heard about Peacocks for a while, not since I heard they’d gone into liquidation that is! Anyway, clearly these rumours were false because they’re here and they’re stronger than ever. My whole outfit here is from Peacocks with a few classic pieces to pull the look together and make me look a million dollars! Styling My Look with Peacocks I find that when you’re shopping with a lower budget, the trick to not looking like your shopping on a lower budget is to mix in some of your favourite classic pieces to create the overall look. Here I’ve simply added my favourite Leather jacket and my beloved Zara bag to a head to toe Peacocks look. I’ve also styled the pieces to give them some of my own personality which I feel is essential with anything really! The jeans were a longer length than I would have liked so I simply folded them under so they hit exactly where I wanted. For me, I’m all about that little gap of skin between my shoes and jeans, I just feel like it breaks it up a bit! I’m loving camel and turtlenecks at the moment so couldn’t resist this ribbed one from Peacocks! Remember in my Haul video, talking about my love of ribbed jumpers! Well here you go! I was shocked at how much I love these shoes, I have a pretty good collection of lace up shoes as you may well know! The attention to detail on these is so much more than I expected, Peacocks have really surprised me here! I love the square shaped toe and the little tassels on the ends of the ties. These are actually a lot better than some of the other styles I’ve got for triple the price! What do you think to how I’ve styled up my Peacocks look? Are you someone who mixes in low end pieces with old favourites like me or do you stick to one or the other?!

Daisy Street // My All Time Favourite Combo

Daisy Street // My All Time Favourite Combo

I love cream jumpers, and I love denim, in ANY form. I’ve tried to fight it, but it’s like my uniform. Think Homer Simpson but jumpers instead of shirts and you’ve pretty much nailed what my wardrobe looks like, and do you know what? I’m ok with that! This beautiful little combo from Daisy Street is basically a dream come true.. I know this probably sounds vein but I’m loving the above shot! I love the crop and any picture where I’m not looking at the camera is always a favourite of mine, have you noticed? Kirk calls it the ‘Sinead Special’ hand in hair, looking into the distance . . you know the one! Coat : Forever 21 Sold Out // Jumper : Daisy Street // Skirt : Daisy Street // Boots : L’intervalle // Bag : Zara I was already in love with this Daisy Street combo before I put this Suede beauty on top but isn’t it just the icing on the perfectly formed cake?! This is one of those outfits that I’ll be mentally storing away for times when I don’t know what to wear! In fact I’m in London today and as I’m not a complete lunatic I’ve swapped the skirt in for a pair of jeans! Daisy Street Details I think when you, like me, wear similar items all of the time, particularly more simple items, it’s all about the details. This is why I love these pieces from Daisy Street so much. The ribbing on the jumper means that it falls really nicely and adds interest. I also mentioned these two pieces in my new haul video on youtube (go and check it out!) and how I was obsessed with the Primark lace up jumper and could not get my hands on it for love nor money. I know there’s a lot of lace up jumpers floating around at the minute but I find that they’re all super tight and clingy which just isn’t me! This skirt caught my eye because of it’s block denim colour, I love the vibrant blue colour and the fringing which makes it really different from any of the other ones I’ve seen which lets face it, are all button up ones! I wear my button up one to death so thought it would be good to throw another denim mini into the mix! These boots are from L’intervalle, I’m really into this length of boot at the moment, I find it so much more flattering because it ends at the slimmest point of your leg! These ones are real leather and doesn’t tan just go with anything? They’ve got a bit of height to them too which is something I love cos’ it means you can go out out in them and still be snug as a bug! Not that you can’t go out out in flats, it’s just means you look dressed up whilst being warm and comfortable! Shop The Post Make sure you’re following me on Bloglovin’…

Why You NEED A Small Bag

Why You NEED A Small Bag

Loving this set of photos, definitely one of my favourite outfits! I’ll be recycling this a few times I’m sure, and if you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I’ve already worn it once to London! I’ve had the biggest revelation recently on why every woman needs a small bag! Let me explain . .   Can we just take a minute to appreciate the beauty that is these Suede Next boots?! The colour is incredible and that heel is just something else! I was brave and wore them for the first time in London the other day, I know what your thinking and I was a bit worried, it was a bold move lets just say that! It was fine though! They’re so so soft and comfortable! I didn’t get 1 blister! The Glory of a Small bag and Why You NEED One! Ok, so  all of my life I’ve needed a big bag to carry around everything, basically my junk wouldn’t fit in a small bag. Which is why I generally only reserved the small bag for nights out and special occasions, but whats this? A daytime outfit? With a small bag? Every day? Let me welcome you to the glorious world of the small bag: Wonky shoulders and aching arms are a thing of the past I came to think it was a normal thing to have a red itchy indent on your shoulder at the end of the day where the contents of my bag, aka my entire life had been pulling in one place. it’s not, small bags won’t do this! If it doesn’t fit, you don’t need it Two notebooks, a diary, two purses, a bag inside the bag, the contents of a fruit bowl and a bottle of water to name but a few things I used to carry around on a daily basis – no this is not an exaggeration! Now I carry lipstick, a mirror, a card holder and my phone and keys, and guess what, I never need the other stuff! You don’t have to carry other peoples things I don’t know if I just have doormat written on my forehead or if this is a trait of all big bag holders. People seem to assume that I brought a big bag out for the sole purpose of carrying their stuff round so they don’t have to have a big bag, or a bag at all . . the cheek! The list could go on but basically, the jist of it is, you don’t have to carry other peoples junk around or your own. Consequently, you will not get wonky shoulders. The best bit is, when your arm doesn’t feel like it’s about to drop off, you can shop for longer! I am so in love with this knit from Sheinside, I’ve been wanting a ribbed jumper for a while and I found this one on the Sheinside website, the best bit? It’s only just over £20! I’m sometimes a bit hesitant about Sheinside because it’s very hit and…
