November Favourites

I’ve never done a post like this before but I love watching them on Youtube, and seen as I’m too much of a WIMP to start my own channel I shall continue to use them as inspo for blogging! Posts like this ‘November Favourites’ I find so helpful because its not just “here look what I brought” you can get a little review on the product and why they’re loving it.. so here goes. Also, if you do think I should start a youtube channel and you would actually watch it and subscribe, let me know because it is something I am seriously thinking about but I would feel awful for having to submit the world to the sound of my voice, is it just me that hates the sound of their voice on tape?(tape? what are we in 1990?) The Shearling Coat This isn’t just a November favourite, this is a since I brought it from Zara favourite. Wow that sounded like an M&S advert! Unfortunately for you guys it’s sold out everywhere but I’ll make a little widget and stick it below with some good copies! This coat though, was such a good investment. I felt physical pain when I handed my card over to pay £90!! But so worth it, I don’t think there’s been a day that’s gone by that I haven’t worn it and I know you get me when I say the fact that I can wear a lightweight top underneath it and still be warm is everything. The Public Desire Boots I’m just obsessed with these boots. I don’t think you need an explanation as to why, if you do then I don’t think I trust your judgetment!! They’re a dupe of the Topshop Master Boots but half the price, Public Desire always have discount codes too if you sign up to their newsletter or something, just a handy tip for you there! The White Tee I brought this T shirt in Zara in Sweden and I must wear it at least once a week, no shame. I’ve never tried to hide my obsession with white T-shirts, but this one has the nicest texture. It’s kind of bobble, lines? Not great at describing things but you can see it in the picture! Because it’s more structured too I love wearing it with just jeans and heels for a smart/casual look because lets face it I never go full out smart. The Rust Jumper I’m pretty sure you guys love this jumper as much as me. As you can see it’s gone all bobbly from the amount of times I’ve worn it but to be honest it’s not that obvious in real life and quite frankly I’m not prepared to part with it yet! I would honestly wear this everyday if it was socially acceptable, it’s definitely my go to piece for when I don’t know what to wear slash can’t be bothered! Again this is probably sold out but either way it’s from Gina Tricot which is a Swedish…

How to Style a Wrap Scarf

How to Style a Wrap Scarf

I haven’t done a post like this in a while so I thought it would be fun (and hopefully helpful) to do a three ways to wear post! I was sent this Burberry esque wrap scarf and honestly it’s been my winter saviour. I’s got the slits for your arms so you can wear it a la cape but I think it looks pretty good as a chunky scarf personally! Three ways to wear a wrap scarf Wrap Scarf : IntheStyle // Top : IntheStyle // Jeans : Topshop // Boots : Public Desire // Bag : Pauls Boutique  Casual Styling This is probably my favourite look of this post, probably because it took the least effort of them all and is the sort of thing I’ll wear most days. I do think though, it’s the perfect example of how great a wrap scarf can be, firstly it’ll keep me warm and allow me to wear a simple long sleeved top. Secondly, it turns just jeans and a top into a pulled together look. They do this wrap scarf in two different shades but I like the brighter colours because it reminds me of the Burberry one that was floating around last year. It also goes with a surprising amount of colours, well the limited amount of colours I wear anyway! Obviously, these boots are going to be hard to avoid now seen as I’m in love. I like to roll my jeans up to avoid the weird tucky in part which just never looks right. I also think a little bit of skin never hurt anyone and breaks it up a bit! Wrap Scarf : IntheStyle // Top : IntheStyle // Skirt : Old ( Similar Here) // Boots : Public Desire //Watch : Abbott Lyon (Use code SINEADAL25 for £25 discount and free worldwide shipping) Styling with a Skirt Of course my beloved denim skirt was bound to make an appearance as it always does, seriously guys it’s such a wardrobe staple! I’ve paired it with the white version of the khaki top I was wearing in the first look – yes we’ve already established I’m a girl of habit! I will just mention that the tops and the scarf are all from IntheStyle and if you do purchase anything, make sure you use the code SIN10 for 10% off your order! Again, the wrap scarf is perfect for adding a warm layer to your outfit without having to completely cover it up with a coat, to be fair I’ve pretty much made it the star of the show here as everything else is simple and monochrome- ish. Of course my favourite boots made another appearance! I’m not really a belt person but I’ve seen people add belts to this kind of look which does actually look really nice, its just not me.  Wrap Scarf : IntheStyle //Jumper : H&M // Jeans : IntheStyle // Boots : QS Laid Back Look I know these are all casual looks, what else did you…

Styling A Denim Dress for Winter

Styling A Denim Dress for Winter

Gilet : Old  Use code CYBER for 20% off today\\ Dress : In the Style Uk ( use code SIN10 for 10% discount) \\ Boots : Public Desire \\ Bag : Lavish Luxe \\ Rings : Melinda Maria \\ Bracelet : Melinda Maria The Denim Dress I have literally been after a good denim dress for what seems like forever, so when I was sent this beauty by the lovely girls at In the Style it seemed like all of my denim dress dreams had been answered! I’m sure you’re all too aware of my obsession with my button up denim skirt so how was I ever going to not love a button up denim dress? Only problem is – when it comes to winter I’m generally more of a jeans kinda gal. You see, my passionate hate for black tights makes wearing skirts a pretty chilly problem. Until that is, I remembered this fur gilet thats been hiding in the back of my wardrobe for a while! I’m always a bit undecided when it comes to fur (faux of course) I never know if it’s nice or tacky, and I’m still not totally sold on it – what do you think? One thing I will say though is that I didn’t feel the chill despite not wearing a coat or tights – it certainly does the job! Which of course means it could be my winter saviour if I can just rest myself firmly on the classy side of the scale.   I love this look with these boots as well, if you follow me on instagram then you’ll have seen them plastered all over my page! They’re so similar to these Topshop ones but a fraction of the price! AND I’ve just remembered its Cyber Monday so if you use the code CYBERBAE you’ll get 20% off anything from Public Desire including these boots!!! I think because they’re cut off slightly above the ankle it’s so much more flattering with a bare leg. I guess it’s the fact that they cut off in the narrow part of your leg? To me they just look so nice with a skirt/dress and I’d actually wear them out (if I ever went out that is) I mean I know I’m a casual dresser but I just think they’re such an all rounder. What I’m trying to say is that you need them, so buy them now!   Did you need any more proof on why you should buy the boots? Look above! Also I don’t know if you can see but they have a square toe, not in a weird way, in a lovely way! Loving this bag as well, I do have a secret obsession with tassels (apologies for my awful nails!).   Apologies for how red and puffy I’m looking in these shot’s, I did drag my sorry arse out of my sick bed for these photos!! How to Wear a Crop Top …

How to Wear a Crop Top …

.. without looking like you think you’re still 17. Okay, maybe not 17 but you get the idea. At the ripe old age of 25 I don’t really feel like baring too much on the stomach front but theres just so many nice crop tops out there. I had to work out my own way of wearing them without showing the world what I had for dinner! I couldn’t resist this suede crop top from Another Eight, it’s in such a warm winter colour and a suede top is such a great way of adding texture to an outfit. Side note – just checked out their website again and oh em gee how cute is this bag? Love a good box bag! Cardigan : Charity Shop| *Top : Another Eight | *Jeans : IntheStyle | *Shoes : IntheStyle | Bag : Zara – Back in stock guys so get there quick! I’m a big fan of oversized things and a more, relaxed kinda look so as it’s a fairly tight crop top (when I say fairly tight I mean I couldn’t breathe for the duration of this shoot) I thought I would layer it up with my favourite charity shop find, the camel cardigan. I have linked a nice chunky one from Missguided but mines a one off I’m afraid so unless you’re prepared to trawl charity shops for your own your gonna have to buy that one. I think it’s physically impossible for an outfit to not look chic and pulled together with this Zara bag. When I first brought it I had trouble handing over 90 sheets for a bag from Zara but honestly, you need it, it’s totally worth it and it keeps selling out so go and buy it now for your own good! I’m definitely not happy with the amount of stomach on show in this photograph but I don’t think it’s possible to edit jeans to look more high waisted and quite frankly if it is possible I don’t know how. How nice are these shoes by the way? I love the lace up style with a closed toe. I’m sure you can tell I’m a fan of a lace up on pretty much anything, but all of my lace up shoes are open toe which isn’t exactly practical in this weather. I’m also loving the colour, I know they don’t exactly go with the top but I think it’s a kind of nice clash.. maybe? What do you think does it totally not go? *Gold Bangle (left) : Melinda Maria | *Gold Bangle (right) : Melinda Maria | *Nail Varnish : Zoya Love these jeans sent to me by IntheStyle (and the shoes ) totally wouldn’t have gone for this style of jean myself but they’re actually so nice and add a bit of interest if you’re just wearing a simple outfit like jeans and a t-shirt – which I usually am lets face it. If you decide to treat yourself to a pair or something else from…

My Favourite Outfits

My Favourite Outfits

So I’ve been blogging for approximately 8 months now and the majority of those posts have been outfit posts, so I thought I would do a little look back at some of my personal favourites. Ok you got me – I’m still ill and I need content. But I have actually been meaning to do a post like this for a while so it’s just been moved forward because of the flu.. can you let me off? Anyway, these are my favourites, my top one is 100% the rust jumper I picked up from Sweden, it’s the first shoot I did with Alex and it’s still my favourite shot! I also love the denim skirt with the camel cardigan, i think transitional outfits will always be my favourites! I’ll link all of the pieces I’m wearing beneath each outfit or as similar as I can find if they’re sold out as some of these are pretty old! don’t forget you can scroll along – I’ve linked loads! I’m not being funny but does anyone else think that this bag just makes any outfit? i’ve had it for nearly a year and it just never get’s old – I think it will always be one of my favourites!! I’ve linked a similar one from Aldo below which is less than half the price and such a good dupe! I truly love this look, it’s one from just last week – not sure why the images are such bad quality in comparison, I think they might be saved wrong so apologies for that! Which one’s your favourite? or is it not here? I love hearing what you guys think! Also if you’re loving these outfits then follow me on Bloglovin’ for more to come !!
