Missguided Summer Wish List

I’ve always been a major fan of Missguided but this summer they’ve seriously upped their game. I’m currently in the middle of an hour long debate over whether to get the playsuit in white or stripey and what do I need more? a bardot crop or a new bikini? These are some hard hitting questions and I know your feeling my pain right now! I’m going to have to order these short’s though, they’re perfectly ripped and don’t look too short, bum cheek chic is not a look I go for! But then if I get the shorts surely I have to get the top because they’ll look so cute together! And of course the look wouldn’t be complete without those sandals.. ok, I’ll get it all!! Links from left to right: Bandeau Bikini Top | Bikini Bottoms | Lace Bardot Playsuit | Denim Ripped Shorts | Bardot Crop | Denim Dress | Grey Marl Bikini | Peplum Cami | Cat Eye Sunglasses | Lace Up Sandals | Bell Sleeve Lace up Top |  Ripped Jeans | Striped Bardot Playsuit | Happy Shopping! Stripes

Stripes

This is the first outfit post on my new camera! What do you think?! It’s not great as me and Lauren my sister and loyal photographer are both still getting to grips with it! The quality is great though! Love how clear it is! Bear with us and hopefully this time next month we’ll be pros! This cute little striped dress I picked up from H&M for just £14.99 – can you believe it?! I love a t shirt dress, so comfortable and because they’re not too clingy you can wear them all day and eat out without worrying about bloating etc! I actually found this beauty in the LOGG section on H&M, I’ll be honest it’s not often that I find myself in this section as I usually dismiss it as a bit ‘mumsy’ .. I take it all back! The lace up detail is super cute and not too low, I’m loving the lace up trend but I find that a lot of the styles on the high street are super low cut which as a member of the small boobs gang can be a minefield! As a lover of basics, stripes are definitely on my wardrobe staples list so if you ask me, any piece of clothing with stripes on is an investment. LOVING these new sunglasses from Asos, I saw them on a friends Instagram a few weeks ago and finally made the purchase this week, I won’t be taking them off all summer! Talking about not taking things off, this pastel Urban Watch will not be leaving my wrist, it’s the perfect accessory for summer outfits. Cold Shoulder

Cold Shoulder

So in love with this dress that was sent to me by Laundry Boutique, I’m going on holiday to Greece soon and I can’t think of anything more perfect to wear whilst roaming the streets of Rhodes and Athens! I love the cold shoulder’s, I think sometimes these kind of dresses can look a bit maternity esque but the cold shoulders give it a more feminine feel and the sleeves hang beautifully!  I dressed it down with my fave sandals from none other than M&S, I’m actually tempted to get these in another colour as so far this summer ( if it’s possible to call this weather summer) I’ve lived in them, it’s like wearing my slippers! I hope you also noticed my neck bling from Aura LDN, if you haven’t already then check out my earlier post of how you can win the same necklace as I’m wearing… seriously we could be twins. If you don’t fancy your luck however, use the code ‘SINEAD10’ for 10% off all items at Aura LDN! Can we just take a moment to appreciate how pretty this alleyway in Stamford is? That’s it guys, no more garage door (maybe occasionally) from now on I’m venturing out and about, the pictures look so much nicer! I’m also looking to start using an actual camera.. can you believe these are all taken on my iphone? I’m thinking of getting the Olympus Pen ELP-7 so anybody that has any tips or feedback would be greatly appreciated!! I’m so excited to upgrade my images! If your thinking of getting this dress or something else from Laundry Boutique, then make sure you use the code ‘LOVESTYLE10’ for 10% off anything in store! New in : Urban Watch

New in : Urban Watch

Last week I was blessed to receive this beautiful time piece from Urban Watch, with its rose gold finishing and pale pink leather strap this is truly a work of art. You know when you get something new that’s so perfect you can’t even bare to wear it for the first few days, you just keep taking it out of the packaging and looking at it, smelling the leather and turning it over in your hands… just me? oh! This is perfect for me because I love the big watch faces but I’m not a big fan of the chunky styles, so the slim face gives it a more elegant feel without being dainty! The pink strap gives it a real summery feel, perfect for styling with white summer dresses, though hang on.. imagine it with a big chunky jumper! Okay it’s definitely an all rounder! The leather strap makes it super comfy to wear and basically your outfit definitely isn’t complete without it! I’m about to say something pretty controversial here.. I love to mix jewellery. I know you superstitious people out there may cringe at this thought but I’m always wearing a combination of silver, gold and rose gold.. who gives a frig when it looks good? Just see the image above and you’ll see what I mean, don’t worry I wont say I was right, but I was. So seen as we’ve now established that I need a good week of owning something and admiring it from afar before I can take the step of actually removing it from it’s packaging and putting it on, I thought I would do some pretty pictures of it, I think they’re pretty good.

Aura LDN Competition

Aura LDN Competition

So recently I was challenged by the lovely people over at Aura LDN to style this stunning necklace. For me, a serial t shirt wearer, necklaces are key for creating a look and making it look like your not wearing the same as yesterday (guilty). When I first saw this necklace it immediately screamed black dress, red lips and heels. It’s definitely got the wow factor! Then I decided to have a re think and tone it down a bit, I’m not really a super dressy girl, I mean give me the right occasion and I’ll go to town the same as the next girl, but on a day to day basis oversized and comfy is my mantra! I decided to still do an evening esque look that you could definitely wear in the day time with some sandals, and as it was how I would style it, this is definitely more me! I’ve paired my good old faithful H&M menswear t shirt with some silky pyjama esque ( look and feel – seriously soft) shorts. To dress up the look I finished it off with my lace up wedges and of course the piece de resistance – my necklace. I haven’t had a chance to wear these shorts yet as I got them for my holiday, but I am actually loving this look and have filed it away in my memory for next time I want to dress up but still feel like I’m wearing my pyjamas – seriously what’s not to love? If you are as in love with this necklace as I am then LUCKY YOU, because I’ve teamed up with Aura LDN and we’re hosting a competition over on instagram! All you have to do is re post one of my looks with the necklace, tagging both me and Aura LDN in your photograph with a description of how you would style the necklace if you won! Don’t forget to also tag your friends in my post to share the love and help spread the word, and follow both my instagram account and Aura LDN’s account!
