MONDAY BEAUTY : 5 Nude Lipsticks I Love

Nude Lipsticks - Beauty Flatlay

Hey guys!

This week I wanted to talk to you about lipsticks, or nude lipsticks to be exact. I’ve tried really hard to like other lipsticks but they just don’t look right on me. Plus I am very lazy as we’ve established multiple times and I’m not one for remembering to top up my lipstick so nude is my best option, no one likes a messy half rubbed off red lip.

So this week I thought I would share with you 5 of my favourite nude lipsticks, the ones I can’t stop wearing and always come back to.

5 Nude Lipsticks I Love

The first nude lipstick I can’t stop wearing is the Sisley Phyto Lip Twist in shade 11. This is a fairly new addition to my lip wardrobe (is that a thing?) and I’ve genuinely not worn another lipstick since it arrived. The colour is like one shade away from my actual lip colour and is super moisturising and easy to apply making it a new favourite for me. To me this is the ultimate in your lips but better nude lipsticks.

Another lip pencil I’ve been loving with more of a creamy texture and my second favourite nude lipstick is the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Bare. It’s got more of a plum tone to it whilst still being super nude and again has a creamier texture whilst the Sisley lip pencil is more of a sheen. These two are my favourites to pop in my handbag and are my go-to for an every day nude lip.

For my third favourite we have a lip palette from the Dior Backstage range in universal neutrals. It’s got every shade of nude from pink-y to brown-y to purple-y. You can tell from looking at the photos which shades are my favourites, I love mixing the Pink GLOSS shade with either Amber or Peach to create a lighter tone of these colours. I can always get the perfect nude for any occasion with this palette and would 100% recommend, it’s just a bit of a pain for carrying around because you need a lip brush to apply. It’s a good one for travelling to make sure you have every lip need covered!

Number four is the cult Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in shade Pillow Talk. It’s got an amazing creamy texture and tastes like cake (taste is v important in a lipstick in my opinion!!) and the shade sits perfectly between the Sisley lip pencil and the Bobbi Brown lip pencil. It’s a really simple nude colour that to me, is perfect for any occasion. I’ve heard on the grapevine that it’s not as nicer colour as the original lip pencil version but I’ve never tried that so have no bench mark, I just think this ones great.

Finally, number five is another Charlotte Tilbury lipstick because we can all agree she’s the queen. From the Hot Lips 2 collection, Glowing Jen. She’s very similar to Pillow Talk with a slightly warmer tone and slightly more of a sheen to her. The packaging is hella fancy and I have to say I’m a sucker for aesthetics so this definitely does add a lot for me!

So there you have it! My top 5 nude lipsticks that all in all are very similar! One for every occasion or all occasions, the lipsticks I’ve had on rotation. Let me know what your favourite nude lipstick is and if you’ve tried any of these! Also if you have a nude lipstick that after reading this you think I’ll love then send it my way girls! I’m always keeping an eye out for another favourite!
