My Top Autumn Picks

This week I couldn’t pick just 9 pieces so you’ve got 15 pieces I’m loving right now! I always find that at the beginning of a season I’m like a kid in a candy shop! Especially with autumn picks! We’ve got knitwear and jackets and coats and boots galore!!! A couple of things I’ve already got myself are the new balance 327 trainers you see in the main image, I love them for autumn because they’re in a darker colour and most of my other trainers are in whites and creams. I also picked up some Doc Martens, something I’ve been meaning to do for so long but I’ve been put off by the rumours of blisters and scarring in the wearing in process. This year I just thought I’d go for it so wish me luck with the wearing in! I feel like chunky boots aren’t going anywhere and they’re a classic style that will stand the test of time even if the chunky boot trend goes away!

OK now let’s talk about knitwear! I picked up this super beautiful light grey/lilac knit from & Other Stories last week in a larger size so it’s super oversized and cozy! I already know that I will be living in it! I also recently got the knitted duo of the cami and cardigan! I’ve loved this trend since last winter and mentioned it on my trend post and I’m so happy to finally have my hands on a set for autumn! I think it’s great too because it’s essentially 3 pieces in one! You can do the cardigan with the knitted tank just the tank or just the cardigan! I think they would look super cute mix and matched with cream layers too!

Speaking of cardigans, I also picked up this super long cardigan which I wore to Bicester village the other day and cannot even explain to you how soft it is! I got it in a medium as I do with most of my knits to make it extra cozy and I think it’s a great alternative to a jacket for this weather we are having! Also It will be nice layered with a coat when it comes to coat weather! Finally I have to mention my favourite coat from last year which is now back in stock! This tie belt beige wool coat is such a wardrobe staple that will stand the test of time, I barely wore any of my other coats once I got this one! it’s just so perfect and looks smart whilst still keeping you warm!
