Party Separates

Party Separates Separates are your best friends when it comes to party dressing. Obviously there’s the failsafe LBD that we all know and love to wear, but separates are great for mixing and matching, meaning multiple options and wears.

Why Party Separates are The Best

What I love about separates it the fact that you can dress them up or in my case down. Take this amaze oyster crossover blouse from Wallis, pair it with some skinnies and you’re smart casual look is good to go. I also love to wear a knit with a skirt . .  that’s just how I roll.

I did consider dressing this up or as up as I get anyway, with a leather skirt (and I still would wear it like this) but I just loved the blazer/top/skinnies thang. For things like this I’m forever grateful to myself for buying that Gucci belt as a V extra special birthday gift from me to me, it just finishes of a simple look and despite the size and branding I just don’t think its too in your face.

Also loving this blazer, I didn’t own any before and I’m loving the way it dresses up a casual look. It’s also super lightweight so you wouldn’t have to take it off when you get into somewhere. Isn’t that the worst when you’ve perfectly styled up your look?

I’ve definitely added this OOTD to my list of New Years Eve possibilities, yes this year I have real life plans that don’t involve eating a curry and watching TV. And after New Years? I’ll wear it with blue jeans and my fave cream coat . .  now you can’t do that with an LBD can you?

Love this look! I’ve been dressing up my own pleather jeans with a variety of sparkly blouses this holiday season as it’s really helped save on packing space!
