Black Friday is like the ultimate shopping day of the year, the best sales happen on this day and unless you’re a pro and have super pointy elbows, I’d recommend shopping the sales from the comfort off your own home! As with any sale, before you shop it, you need a game plan so you don’t loose your head and end up with your dream dress 4 sizes too big and a pair of shoes you’ll never wear but they were a great price.
My Black Friday Game Plan
So in order to make the most of the sales I’ve put together a little game plan on what I’ll be looking for, obviously I will be doing some searching on the big day but I want to make sure that I don’t end up spending money on pointless items I don’t need and will never wear because let’s face it, it’s only a bargain if you would have brought the item anyway.
For me the main areas I’ll be looking at are christmas gifts and luxury items. There’s a few pieces I really want and have for ages. I don’t need them by any stretch of the imagination but if they’re reduced then I may just give myself that early christmas treat. Self gifting is a thing you know? Christmas gifts are also 100% something you should have already thought about in preparation for the black friday sales. The final things I will be looking at is winter clothing & tech. Pieces I will wear this year and get so much wear out of, boots, Knitwear and coats in particular. And tech items like the TV we need to replace, tech traditionally has the biggest price reductions so it’s always worth keeping an eye out for the pieces you need to replace or invest in.
MY BLACK FRIDAY LUXURY WISHLIST
I have wanted an Acne Deborah jumper for so long it hurts! The pale pink colour is such a dream and literally my perfect knit. I’m not sure how I feel about buying it now as I just treated myself to one from Bicester Village but if it’s in the sales then I may have to go crazy. Then for sure I’ll be on a spending ban! I’m also so in love with my Golden Goose trainers because they’re ridiculously comfy. Also my all-time style crush Sincerely Jules has a huge selection so there’s that. I love this worn leopard print pair and if they’re discounted they’ll 100% be in my basket!

WINTER WISHLIST
There are so many knits, coats and boots I’m loving! I live in knitwear over winter so I find myself constantly replenishing my collection otherwise I get so bored as it’s always the same jeans and jumper combo! I find the same with coats too! I keep it for a few weeks then trade it in for a new version unless it’s a classic!

TECH I NEED TO UPDATE
We really need a new TV so I’ll be looking to invest big time this year on back friday! I also really want the Dyson heater/fan! We live in an old stone house so it’s freezing in winter and boiling in summer! Typical! My Mum has one of these and I’m super jealous so I want to treat myself to one if there’s any deals going on though I think I’d have to pick between this or the Acne knit else I may go bankrupt! Fashion or function? That’s the question . . the Acne knit will keep me warm though right?!
