What’s your Summer style?

When it comes to summer there’s definitely some subtle and not so subtle changes that happen to my wardrobe. Every year I vow to wear more dresses and ditch the jeans and this year might just be the year it happens. That is if summer ever happens.

My Summer Style

As part of Boohoo’s summer style squad I was required to see which SQUAD I was part of. I actually got glam squad – probably because of my self confessed addiction to the Kardashians – I just love them OK? But seen as midi dresses and killer heels ain’t my thang I self assigned. Cheeky I know but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

The squad I identify with most is totally the boho squad. Cold shoulders, embroidery and anything floaty is totally my bag. Next I had to style up a look for my SQUAD. Do you see why I self assigned now? Not that I don’t love the whole midi, body con, high heels thing – as I said, Kim K obsessive right here.

I was channelling Sincerely Jules when I picked the camo jacket and boots. I’ve been eyeing up this camo jacket since I saw Emma Hill rock it and I’m soooo pleased to finally get my hands on it!

I’m loving embroided detail right now! And the camo jacket gives it a bit of an edge which is cool.

How nice!? I actually surprised myself as it isn’t necessarily something I’d get but I love the boots with the dress!

I got the Casual squad! Although I agree with that I also would agree with being a bit boho! I love the idea of being a bit boho like in the summer, can I have all the free people dresses please!? And have always liked the idea of cameo jacket but haven’t taken the plunge just yet! I also want to get out of wearing my jeans all day everyday but I always worry I’ll be too cold for this english weather that like to change every few seconds!

Totally know what you mean! Like it’s summer but am I supposed to wear a skirt and pretend I’m not dying of cold!? This camo is so nice because it’s super light as well!

I’ve actually been making a concerted effort with the fake tanning, dresses and skirts! I feel so much more feminine in them too! Boohoo is such an underestimated store! I got my favourite skirt from there for only £15! Nothing beats the prices!!!
