It’s only really in the past year or so that I started to see the benefits of investing in luxury items rather than collecting hoards of high street pieces (not saying I don’t still do that too) let alone the fact that I might actually be able to afford to do so. Something I’ve been eyeing up for probably about the same amount of time but never really saw  it as a reasonable purchase was the Acne Scarf, in the brands iconic pink of course! Why did I not think it was a reasonable investment? Because it’s essentially a strip of fabric and costs over £100. Why Do I now? Keep reading.

The first two weeks went fine then an illness struck and quite frankly I had about 2 minutes of footage of me moaning about being I’ll and figured – ain’t nobody gonna watch that ??‍♀️. So I did a poll for New York and turns out people only want to see my outfits anyway PLUS I wanted a bit of a break you know? So I’ve filmed each outfit I wore on a blog style – super laid back/ hotel room mirror selfie kinda style and I’ve added shots of all my outfits!

You guys know how much of a casual dresser I am so it’ll come as no surprise that I generally only like to buy party pieces that can work for me in different ways. Basically, if I can only wear it on a night out then it just isn’t going to happen! When Free People contacted me about collaborating on a partywear piece I instantly knew that I wanted to share how you can moonlight your party dress as a cute skirt, top or layering piece! I actually have to admit that after styling it up in two different ways I prefer the casual look!

I put them together, of course they’re great!  But there’s good outfits, and then there’s the outfits you want to wear all day everyday and just outfit repeat to your hearts content!
