Baby Girl Nursery Decor

Hey guys! I’m so excited to finally be writing this blog post because it means that the Nursery decor is FINALLY finished and we are all ready for baby girl to arrive!! I’ve got a ton of photos in here so I’m going to talk you through the Nursery Decor, what we picked and why and the theme we settled on which as you can see is pretty in keeping with the rest of the house . . neutral! But with a hint of pink tones to make it feel more girly and I think as time goes on we will add more and more pink bits and bobs! What I really love about this room and why I’m so glad we kept the Nursery Decor neutral is that it’s so bright and light and super calming in here! I just want to spend all of my time in here relaxing now! We do of course have black out curtains though for baby girl to get her beauty sleep!

Hallway Update / Hallway Decorating Ideas

Hey guys! It’s been a while since I did an interiors post on here but I wanted to show you our new hallway flooring which I am absolutely over the moon with and some hallway decorating ideas to go alongside it! For a long time now we have had most of the ground and first floor sorted but it’s always felt super un finished because the hallway and stairs just weren’t what we wanted. Because the space connecting it all felt not “us” or “done” it really made the whole house feel unfinished and not that we finally have the carpet in and the hallway updated it’s made the entire home feel more finished!

Our DIY Bathroom Makeover

Our DIY Bathroom Makeover

Hey guys! So it’s taken me an absolute age but I wanted to finally get round to showing you the finished bathroom! Unfortunately I can’t find any pictures of the before but it’s a very modest style bathroom and though the decor wasn’t awful – no green suites or anything. It just wasn’t what we would have chosen and just didn’t really have any personality to it. The couple living here before us had also been elderly meaning there were lots of handles and rails for support which over time had developed rust . .  just not your ideal bathroom situation shall we say! One thing that bugged me so so much about the previous bathroom … well two things, were the lack of storage ( we now have a lovely bathroom cabinet) and the radiator. We used to have a small one under the window that really made the room feel so much more cramped, plus it was a super retro style – not in the good way – and had also got signs of the beginnings of rust. So began our DIY bathroom makeover!
