A Different Take on Embroidered Denim

Embroidered Denim - Simple Spring Styling

Embroidered denim is a trend I’ve had my eye on for a while but never quite made the jump. There’s something about the floral embroidery that just didn’t feel all too me. It seems to be everywhere right now and when it comes to embroidered denim there isn’t much choice other than flowers. With this in mind I’d pretty much given up on finding the perfect pair to suit my style until I stumbled across this pair . .

A Different Take on Embroidered Denim

I saw a pair of embroidered jeans in Monki a while back and really liked them. You know when you know you shouldn’t like something but you can’t help being drawn to it? Yeah that. Anyway, they were around £50 which no one is going to pay for a pair of jeans with cats on. Are they? Fast forward a few months and a huge shein order for my recent shein haul/review video on youtube, and a pair of cat embroidered jeans are finally in my hands.

Before you say it, I’m gonna be the one to point out that yes the cats are supposed to be on your knees but lets just remember that this is a brand based in China and I am fairly tall at 5ft 7. It doesn’t really bother me and I actually like the length of the jeans on me, I’m all in for an ankle basher. I thought these would just be a bit of fun, wear them once and put them in the back of my wardrobe never to surface again kinda fun. But actually they add the perfect touch of fun to a casual blue jeans white tee look and I can happily confirm that I’ve worn them every day since I got them much to my boyfriends displeasure (did I mention he’s back?!?!).

I paired them with my favourite shoes of the moment, these Gucci dupes . .  seriously considering getting them in the black too now with the amount I’ve worn them! Then I thought I’d do double embroidery with this super cheap top I picked up at Lasula. I also got some new grandpa glasses there, my other ones were looking really worse for wear and you guys know how much a fan I am of them! I finished off the look with my new Gant coat which is so perfect for the transitional period and is the perfect shade of oatmeal/pink to add some warmth to the look.

I love, love, love this whole outfit – it has such a sophisticated but casual vibe about it, and you’re totally rocking it way better than I could. Also, that t-shirt is incredibly sassy, it’s amazing haha!

Yess, I really love your jeans, they’re super cute! And you’re right, I wouldn’t pay that amount of money for such a pair of jeans either 😉
