Asos Denim | Meet Your New Best Friend

Generally when I buy jeans I like to stick to what I know, so when asos denim contacted me about trying a pair of their new sculpt me jeans out I was a bit hesitant. You see, I view my jeans like an old friend who’s always there for you, reassuringly comfy and always forgiving. Sure they may wear over time but it just makes them better. Anyway, personifying objects aside, I love them. I know you’re probably getting sick and tired of me saying this in posts but I DO, and I fall in love easily, I’m a floozy what can I say – when it comes to clothes that is . . Before I start talking about outfits and all the usual malarky – it’s not malarky please still read it. I thought I would take a minute to talk about the fit. Because if you’re like me, then you’ll be thinking twice about ordering something like jeans off the internet, getting the perfect pair is no joking matter and can take a while – hence me usually sticking to what I know. This style are almost like jeggings, a similar fit to the Topshop Leigh jeans, but the material is thicker and has more stretch and support in it. They’re just so damn comfy the kind of comfy that means you keep them on when you get in at the end of the day – am I the only one that changes into my pyjamas straight away? *Jumper : Lovers + Friends @ Revolve Clothing *Jeans : Asos Shoes : Converse Asos Denim // Meet My New Best Friends So as these are now officially my new best friends (sorry Jamie, it was good whilst it lasted. . we can still keep in touch?) I thought I would do a little ways to wear. I was going to do 3 ways, the standard casual, smart casual and night out/evening, but I feel like I wouldn’t wear such light jeans in the evening for this time of year. Just you wait till summer’s here . .we’ll be inseparable. For my casual look I’ve dusted off my Converse. I do actually wear these a lot for work as I’m on my feet all day but because of this I often overlook them in day to day. Do you get that? When you tar something with the work brush? I do love the casual feel they give an outfit though, sometimes you just want to look easy breezy and for some reason my boyfriend loves me in Converse. . honestly I have no idea. Love this striped jumper from Lovers + Friends at Revolve Clothing, everytime I put a picture of it up on my insta I am flooded with compliments. Can’t wait until it’s warm enough to not wear a jacket so I can show off the back of it! It’ll be so nice with a little skirt and boots for Spring! Coat : Topshop Top : Zara *Jeans : Asos *Heels : Public Desire Asos Denim // Take Two Firstly, let me…

How To Nail Mothers Day

How To Nail Mothers Day

I genuinely feel bad for the Dad’s of the world because Mum’s are just so much easier to buy gifts for. When Mothers day rolls around I’m spoilt for choice. Being the handy andy that I am, I thought I would lend a helping hand with some of my top picks for this mothers day. I am a born gift giver, if I know and love someone, I’m amazing at buying gifts for them – people may be reading this and thinking no your not, particularly my boyfriend who said my gifts were ‘quirky’. I went through a stage of not having a lot of money and a lot of my gifts were homemade, I say thoughtful he says quirky. Potato, patata. Anyway, I love buying gifts, so therefore I must be good at it no? *Mug : Amara This cup is honestly the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! So I know mugs can be a pretty generic Mothers day gift but I feel like nice one’s don’t come under the generic umbrella, it’s reserved for mugs with best Mum ever written across the front. Who wouldn’t feel like a million dollars drinking from this? They do one with the eye’s open too, could make a cute little set, just saying . . Candle : Diptyque // *Book : Amara // Hand Cream : L’Occitane // Perfume : Jo Malone In my opinion, smellies are KING. Smelly candles, perfume, smelly hand cream – obviously I mean good smelly! My boyfriend got me this candle for Valentines and I have to admit, I’ve not quite got my full use of it for flatlay purposes to start burning it. I can tell you from enthusiastically sticking my nose against the wax and sniffing that I know it’s going to be a dream. Mums love candles, candles love Mums, the end. This L’Occitane hand cream is divine, the smell is incredible, is it sad that it’s my special hand cream that I don’t use everyday? Any form of pampering will always go down a treat, after all, Mothers day is about Mums relaxing! Coffee table books, I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, what woman doesn’t love a beautifully presented hard back book? If not to read, just to look pretty on the coffee table coffee table books are a ‘thing’ you know? This one’s all about hosting and with motherhood comes the position of hostess, she needs this. *Vase : Amara  // *Book : Amara // Lip Balm : Chanel Flowers are an old friend you can always rely on for Mothers day gifts, only good flowers mind you! None of this petrol station carnations nonsense! I’m talking roses, peonies, orchids . . what are her favourites?! Do you know what’s even better than flowers? flowers in a vase, something that smells beautiful and looks beautiful, and something lovely to keep! I love the size of this one, it’s not exactly a bunch of flowers vase though! Dip dye and pastels are so my thing right now, or would be if I had…

How One Pair Of Shoes Can Transform Your Outfit

How One Pair Of Shoes Can Transform Your Outfit

This is a very important post about how one pair of shoes can transform your outfit. If you, like me, have a boyfriend that complains about how many pairs of shoes you have, you should fetch your laptop immediately and show him this post because the fact of the matter is, they can. *Jacket : Girls On Film // T Shirt : H&M Old // Jeans : Asos // *Heels : Raye @ Revolve Clothing // Bag : Zara Why great shoes can transform your outfit into a ‘look’ Your probably sick and tired of me professing my love for jeans and talking about how all I wear is jeans and a t shirt right? But I feel like this is precisely the thing that has led me to the conclusion that shoes can transform your outfit. Shoes and bags are statement items, shoes more so. . because we love shoes, and the same outfit when worn with these beautiful Suede sandals, would look COMPLETELY different with a pair of Stan Smiths or a pair of stiletto court shoes. I’m a firm beleiver in that it’s how you accessorize an outfit that turns it into a full on ‘look’, no I don’t know what I’m talking about either. You get the picture though, it goes from jeans and a t shirt to, “woah, she’s smokin’ ” Do you know what I love about this look? I feel like it’s very Sincerely Jules – if you don’t know then you won’t know. Go and look her up, if you like low key style then she’ll be right up your street, think Californian laid back with the odd Chloe handbag thrown in. These shoesies are kind of a half way house if you will. I think you could wear this look day or night depending on your style of course! For me this is something I’d wear for dinner or a smart casual occasion because I am ultra low key in my style. I can imagine someone else might wear this to go shopping though! I was sent them by Revolve Clothing who I’ve always dreamt of working with after seeing the incredible Coachella parties they throw and the clothing itself worn by some huge inspirations of mine! These are from a brand called RAYE and I am in love. They’re real Suede and just the perfect neutral pair, you know when you can just tell a pair of shoes will be with you for years? Yeah, that. If I haven’t convinced you (your boyfriend/Husband) that a pair of shoes can transform your outfit and therefore a multitude of shoes are required at all times, then I haven’t done my job. But please do feel free to follow me on Bloglovin’ so I can have another go tomorrow? You can also find me on youtube now! Make sure you subscribe so you can get the full on Sinead Crowe experience, I know you want it! It’s a great way to find out about the person behind the blog! Shop The…

LFW // What To Wear

LFW // What To Wear

I’ve never been to LFW before so I decided to go on the most tame days the Thursday and Friday, and skipped the shows to ease myself in with just events and hangouts. Don’t get me wrong, shows would have been amazing and I do regret passing up the opportunity after going down there, but at the time I just felt anxious and uncomfortable about the whole thing and wanted to be comfortable so that I could actually enjoy it! Coat : Next Old // *Top : Boohoo // *Belt : Boohoo // Jeans : Asos // Shoes : Topshop // Watch : Larsson &  Jennings Deciding What To Wear For LFW I had a real mare when I was deciding what to wear for LFW. So basically, it started on Thursday at the Boohoo Gifting lounge when I decided that anyone who’s anyone is more out there at LFW so therefore I needed to dress differently to my usual style. I tried on around 50 different things and surprise surprise I came out with a white top and a grey top . . really?! I ordered these jeans and thought, I’ll wear them with the top it’s fine it will look great and when they arrived I just did not feel LFW ready, I was so boring, I was so me. After ordering these man repelling shoes (my boyfriend practically cried when I told him it wasn’t a joke – which he thought it was) I loved it all together but I felt like it was too me to wear to LFW. Anyway, after having a good old fashioned instagram stalk of what people were wearing I was surprised to see some of the people who’s style I identify with the most were pretty laid back in their style, which made me realise that it’s fine to just be you. So eventually I settled for this look with a coat courtesy of Sue Crowe, It’s nothing particularly fancy but it’s me and I felt comfortable in it! I always find that when I’m comfortable I have more confidence which after all is the most flattering thing you can wear – cringe. Anyway, I didn’t put the arms through the sleeves and if that doesn’t scream fashion I don’t know what does. I love this shot of me and Liv from LivinFashion twinning in our granny shoes. Yes, they’re so beautiful we decided to just wear them, because . . fashion. I have to admit her tanned feet like a damn site better in them than my pasty feet do, mine look like a genuine grandmas feet, no offence to any grandmas. All photography by Liv Blankson Shop The Look Post LFW Breakfast with Farfetch I thought I would add in my little post LFW breakfast with Farfetch as it’s all part of the festivities and the location, The Wolsley Hotel is just a sight to be seen! I’m talking mirrored doors, gold banisters, high ceilings and marble floors. It was all I could do not to get up…
