One of my guilty pleasures when I have some spare time on my hands is to scour the net for other fashion blogs, reading months back and getting totally hooked for far too long! When I was indulging myself the other day I came across this Happy Checklist from Chapter Friday. The concept of making time in your everyday life for small moments that can bring you a little happiness is something that really appealed to me!
If your a regular reader of my blog you’ll know I’m very much a crusader of all things mindfulness, constantly looking for things to bring me happiness and positivity. So when I saw this I thought, I’m in. I’m not great at sticking to order so to start off I thought I would choose an easy one, to treat myself to a magazine I love. I’m actually a subscriber to Elle magazine yet I never seem to find the time to sit down and read it. In the corner of my room I have a steadily building pile of unread copies forming, so I decided to take some time out to indulge myself in a cup of tea and a good old magazine session.
I think you should try it too! Each task is so simple and easy yet brings small moments of joy to your everyday life, if this list isn’t quite to your liking, why don’t you take a moment to think about what makes you tick and make your own list! I’d definitely add taking my dog to the field for an early morning play to the list, seeing her happy little face brings me so much joy, I can’t think of a better way to start the day!
