September Haul

I thought I would do a little September haul post for you guys as you seemed to really like my Stockholm Haul! I love hearing feedback from you so feel free to drop me a comment and let me know if there’s anything you want to see more of or anything you want me to do that I’m not already! I’ve definitly bought more than this but these are my more memorable pieces and the ones that I know I’ll be loving all autumn right through to winter! I’m looking at the amount of shoes here (bear in mind these aren’t the only ones) and thinking it’s slightly out of control and perhaps I need to get some more space to store these beauts! River Island I’m not usually one to shop in River Island but a couple of weeks ago when I was having a wonder around Cambridge I popped in to have a quick look. I’m so glad I did! I usually write RI off, they do nice bags but they’re always emblazoned with the huge logo and their clothes are usually a bit much for a jeans and t shirt kinda gal like me, but I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself in the shoe department. Savvy shopper I am, I remembered that I had a 25% off voucher from my ELLE magazine and went home to order online – free delivery and 25% – who could resist? I’ve wanted a pair of these flats for forever I literally try them on in every store I see them and then put them back, they either make my feet look too long (I’m a size 8) or they’re too expensive. 1) these were £28 (£21 with my voucher) 2) I fit into a size 7 which is enough to make my buy any pair of shoes! The boots were just an impulse buy because at £45 (£37 with my voucher) for real suede you can’t say no! I also love the colour and the pointy chelsea boot style. Linzi Shoes I was lucky enough to be sent these, shout out to the lovely girls over at Linzi Shoes HQ for sorting me out with these beauties! They are honestly so comfortable, I wore them the other day for work and they didn’t hurt one bit – bear in mind I am on my feet all day! I honestly love everything about them, the heel, the wrap detailing, the colour I’ve actually worn these more than my RI ones! You can see me wearing them in my Three Ways to wear post here.Forever 21 I’m pretty sure I’ve already raved about this on here already, but here we go again. Nineteen pounds!!! for the perfect denim shirt, in my opinion anyway! I’ve wanted a denim shirt for so long but I hate the western-ish style. You know the dipped hem and the tailoring, it looks great on other people but it just isn’t my style and apparently it’s all anywhere…

Triangl Bikini Review

Triangl Bikini Review

I’ve been meaning to do this post since I came back from holiday but somehow I’ve only just got round to it, pretty helpful to get a bikini review at the end of September hey?! Well, to be fair a Triangl bikini is definitely an investment and those lucky few who are jetting off to warmer climates for some winter sun can take this advice on board! I know there’s a lot of umming and arring when buying a bikini that exceeds £20 (well there is for me anyway!) so I thought it I’d do a little Triangl bikini review! Firstly, I’m lucky enough to own two of these beauties, the Farrah in Wild Thing which is a triangle shaped bikini with crochet detailing, and the Brigitte in in the summertime, which is a bralet style also with crochet detailing. Fit I found the fit really good, the material is neoprene which unless you’ve been living under a hole and have never heard of Triangl before I’m pretty sure you’ll be aware of! This means that your bottoms don’t fall down when you get out of the pool and there’s no gaping, usually when I swim in a bikini the water goes in and my top goes down. I found it really comfortable to wear and because of the nature of the fabric it’s a good snug fit. It’s worth mentioning that the straps are adjustable as well which helps to get a good fit. Sizing I guess the first thing to mention is that I am lucky if I fill a 34A cup on a good day, I have zero boobs. If you’re blessed by the god of tits you may not find this post helpful! I’m generally an 8/10 depending on where I shop and how I want it to fit, of course with a bikini, I want a tight fit! The sizing is XXS – XL, I’m not sure what they all stand for but I know XS is 32A and S is 34B so I guess the rest goes up/ down in a similar way. They also have S+ and S++ for those of you who are a smaller size but have bigger boobs which I think’s quite good. To be honest I was told that there was an online chat service for sizing and I didn’t even hesitate before using it! The girls at Triangl are honestly so lovely and helpful, I just gave them my bra size and they told me which would be best. I had the issue that I’m a 34A so I either compromised in the cup or the waist, because I got the Farrah first I went for the S, with it being a triangle style I thought it wouldn’t matter if the cup was a little big. It fitted so well, there was definitely room for me to go smaller but I wanted to be on the safe side. The next time I was a bit more adventurous, don’t get me wrong I…

Forever 21 Favourites

Forever 21 Favourites

I can never resist a quick shop in Forever 21 whenever I’m in a 1 mile radius of a store, but I never think to shop online. I follow a lot of Americans and Canadians on Instagram and everything they have I want and where does it all come from? Forever 21 of course. Now I don’t know why but for some reason, probably the fact that it’s an american brand, I got it into my head that you had to pay for international shipping if you order online. Why didn’t I just check your thinking? I wonder about that same question myself. It’s the same as any other UK shipping and best of all, they’ve got that aged old favourite offer, spend £50 or over and you get free delivery. So I’m not sure if you’re familiar with forever 21 but it’s pretty much the best store ever, same kind of stuff as H&M and Topshop only with 1000’s to choose from and at a fraction of the price. I was so overwhelmed when I first looked (and so broke) that I only got the denim shirt. It’s pretty perfect to be honest, it’s only £19.00 and it’s really heavy denim so they clearly don’t skimp on quality to get the cheap prices! I did however enjoy putting together a little wishlist which come pay day I’ll be taking through the checkout. Bell Sleeve Slouchy Sweater : £15.00 | Denim Shirt : £19.00 | Striped Trim Ribbed Top : £12.00 | Boxy Utility Jacket : £25.00 | Genuine Suede Button-Front Jacket : £52.00 | Textured Open-Knit Sweater : £14.00 | Cuffed Cap-Sleeve Boxy Top : £10.00 | Buttoned Denim Pencil Skirt : £19.00 | Faux Suede Strappy Flats : £19.00 | Genuine Suede Mini Skirt : £22.00 | Frayed Stripe-Patterned Scarf : £11.00 | Wavy Knit Sweater : £14.00 Do you shop at Forever 21? Am I the only person on earth to have only just discovered it?? If you find any good pieces let me know! Don’t forget to nominate me in the Cosmopolitan blog awards if you haven’t already!! Stockholm Mini Haul

Stockholm Mini Haul

I couldn’t resist a spot of shopping when I was in Stockholm, it’s pretty trendy for me to be honest, like hackney on another level of hipster. I did however manage to find some shops that we’re more on my level amongst the sea of vintage shops, so I thought I’d do a little haul post to show you the pieces I picked up. To be honest it’s pretty much all from shops we have here but there’s something novel about shopping in another currency, I always feel like I’m getting more of a bargain.. very dangerous! Gina Tricot I picked up this short sleeved jumper from a shop called Gina Tricot which I’d never heard of before, it’s a similar style to H&M I guess but a lot cheaper. I seriously struggled when choosing between this rust colour and grey, I was shocked that a) I didn’t get both, and b) I didn’t get the grey. I always buy grey and I do want to wear colour, honestly, I just find it difficult because I love grey and it loves me. Anyway I’m glad I chose the rust because it’s super nice and it suits me, even if I do say so myself! You can see me wearing it in my Autmn Rust Post. Zara If I go in a Zara and I don’t buy anything my mood is lowered by at least 50%, it’s just not healthy. If you read my blog you’ll know I’m a sucker for a white t shirt, this one is honestly so soft on the inside and I love the structured shape and texture. Mango I got this vest because it’s so soft I can’t even explain to you, and it had a red sale sticker on it, who cares what the price is, it’s on sale! Then when I was paying I saw this monster of a ring, I’m not usually one for a chunky ring but I actually love this and my long gangly fingers can definitely take it! When I was looking to link it on Mango I noticed how nice their jewellery collection is, seriously, have a look. H&M You can’t go to Sweden and not go to H&M, it’s just rude. I have to be honest, because Zara’s so cheap in Spain I was expecting H&M to be Primark prices so I was pretty shocked when they were the same there as they are here. I still brought stuff though, duh. Has anyone else been to H&M in Sweden before? They have an entire make up range of their own and also stock other brands like Max Factor and Real Techniques, they do hair dyes and dry shampoo and all sorts! I was really excited by this and couldn’t resist a lipstick which is actually so nice and my new favourite! I also picked up this pretty lace bra, I usually get all of my pretty bras from elcy clothing but I couldn’t resist this fishnet style beauty. Jumper :…

Autumn Winter Loves

Autumn Winter Loves

I’m back! Did you miss me? I’m sad to say that all I brought back with me is a dodgy (barely there) tan and the driest hair known to man. I did however have an amazing time so you can all brace yourselves and be prepared for an onslaught of posts about what I wore what I ate and where I went! So seen as I’ve only just had a minute to sit down, slash lay in bed watching netflix, I thought I’d ease myself back in with a nice little shopping post. Apparently no one told the English weather that it’s actually August so we may as well embrace it and use it as an excuse to get a new wardrobe! Call me sad but to be honest I’m so over summer clothes and am actually looking forward to layering up and picking the perfect pair of winter boots. What better way to indulge myself than to pick out my favourite winter pieces? So far at the top of my list are: A good pair of pointed flats because when you have size 8 feet it’s near impossible to not rock the clown chic look with points. A denim dress I’ve got my eye on a few from Boohoo who seem to have seriously upped their game Chloe Dupe I know, I still haven’t got it.. this month I will have one! 1 – Strappy Flats – Zara | 2- Rust Knit – River Island | 3- Open Back Shirt – Asos | 4- Denim Dress – Boohoo | 5- Pointed Flats – Asos | 6- Cream Knit – Asos | 7- Striped Dress – Topshop | 8- Chunky Knit – Asos | 9- Denim Shirt – Asos What are your autumn must haves? Do you love wrapping up like me or are you sad to let summer go!?
