Wish Want

Do you dread buying gifts or are you like me and love spending time deciding on exactly which item the person in question will love, excited to see the look on their face when they open it? Well, if you’re like me, you’re going to love Wish Want. A new website which allows you to put together your own kind of gift catalogue complete with explanations on why you chose that exact gift. You select the amount you want to spend, pick a few gift options, load it with money, and then you can send it in paper form or by email to the birthday girl (or boy). So it’s kind of like a gift voucher, but they have to pick one of the items you so carefully selected. Then the lovely people at Wish Want send their choice direct to their house, perfect! I think it’s a great idea, I hate the idea of just giving someone money as it’s so thoughtless, but this way, it’s like money in the sense that you can’t go wrong, but they know you’ve put some thought into it! The lovely people at wish want let me try out the service and I think it’s great, I’ll 100% be using it in the future and I got a great book that I’ve been wanting to get my hands on for a while now, can’t wait to read it on my holiday! Go and have a look at their website, it’s also amazing for just treating yourself, the goodies are incredible!

OOTD | Boyfriend Jeans

OOTD | Boyfriend Jeans

I’ve lost count of the amount of time I’ve spent browsing fashion sites looking for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans recently, definitely more than I’d like to admit. Then, out of the blue, the perfect solution.. right there in front of me! So I was round my boyfriends the other day in a skirt, having decided that actually, today was more of a jeans day I told him we had to go home I needed to change. He suggested I wore his jeans, I was all like no way hosay they aren’t going to fit me and I will look ridiculous. “They’re called boyfriend jeans for a reason” he told me, so to prove that I was right (I always am) I tried them on and voila! they fitted, in the perfect boyfriend jeans kinda way! So I’m sorry Jack but this is me formally telling you to go and buy a new pair of jeans, you made me try them on so it’s your fault. Hey, don’t they look perfect with my men’s t shirt?!   T Shirt : H&M | Jeans : Stolen (Similar Here and Here) | Sandals : M&S  (Similar Here) | Bag : Mango ( Similar Here) | *Sunglasses : Zero UV

OOTD | PASTEL ACCESSORIES

OOTD | PASTEL ACCESSORIES

I’m so excited to finally wear this top, I’ve had it for a few weeks now but I lent it to one of my good photographer friends for a shoot. I picked it up from Boohoo for a mere £18 which I was pretty happy about! I love floaty tops almost as much as I love cold shoulders! Last week I was sent this beautiful pastel bag from Label MB, I’m normally really boring when it comes to colours of handbags. I find it difficult to venture away from black, even tan is pretty out there for me so the last thing I would usually pick is a pink bag. Oh how I was wrong! Pink goes with everything, everything I wear anyway! I’m a sucker for a bucket bag and love the textured detailing. All I can say is I wish I had it earlier for the whole of summer!

August Wish List

A new month and a new wish list, I swear as soon as I buy the one thing I need, I suddenly need something else! Such a burden! I’m loving denim at the moment as I’m sure you can tell, I’m on the hunt for the perfect denim shirt (and dress, and top, and skirt) so if you know of any good ones then please leave me a comment! It will be much appreciated! I know a lot of this stuff is quite wintery but I always think that summers when you need to start keeping your eyes peeled for a good pair of boots, seriously it’s never too early, if you don’t buy it now you will regret it! This month I’m determined that I will own a Chloe dupe by September latest. Also, guess what?! I got an email this morning saying I’d won a £100 voucher from Topshop! So I’ll probably be picking up those winter boots and I’ll do a post when I decide what to spend it on and show you my goodies!! The Perfect Pair

The Perfect Pair

Usually when people talk about ‘the perfect pair’ they mean jeans or shoes, me? I’m talking sunnies. Now it’s only really this year that I’ve grown up and decided to spend more than 99p on a road market for some sunglasses, I’ve graduated to grown up sunglasses from real life shops! I know.. go me. Seriously thought, what I’m about to tell you will blow your mind. Sunglasses don’t just protect your eyes, they also frame your face and can make you look pretty damn hot even if I do say so myself. Ok, so apparently I’m the only one who’s only just realised the power of the sunglasses, I’ve got some time to make up. With that in mind my sunglasses collection is growing by the day. My ultimate favourites have to be my original pair of ‘grown up sunglasses’ from Asos, I’m obsessed with tortoise shell and even just resting on the top of my head they make me look great. I also have a variety of styles from Zero UV, the official sunglasses bible. I especially love the blue reflective lenses, not a style I would usually have gone for but I’m so glad I did, who knew?! Anyway, I thought I’d indulge in a little selfie session to show you my favourite styles. In hindsight, a white jumper on a white background wasn’t my best of ideas!   Cat Eye Sunglasses: Asos | Reflective Black Sunglasses: Zero UV | Tortoise Shell Square Frame Sunglasses: Zero UV
