  • Grey. On Grey. On Grey

    Grey. On Grey. On Grey

So after my post last week on spring style inspiration I was inspired to recreate some of the tonal looks. I love the colour grey and most of my item’s of clothing are grey so it’s the perfect colour to try this look with! If I hadn’t seen the pictures on pinterest I wouldn’t have thought about putting together an entire outfit made up of one colour (usually I would try to avoid this) but I think it works really well, especially with the addition of some black accessories! I think this is definitely something I will be using again in the future, I also have a lot of white and a new denim shirt from H&M that’s crying out for a double denim look! The grey works so well because the shades are really similar but just different enough, the different textures sit really nicely together. My t shirt is actually mens, I always favour mens t shirts because they fit just how I want. The fabric is softer and they’re made to hang rather than hug! This ones from Topman yonks ago! These jeans are actually my worst nightmare.. jeggings.. but you can’t tell that they aren’t jeans unless you can see the waistband as they’re made of jean material and not that super stretchy fabric! I got them from H&M for just £12.99 which I couldn’t say no to, I’ve paired them with my bargain of the century mules from Primark for £14.00.. drop what your doing right now and go and get yourself some! Coat: Topshop Old ( Similar Here) | T Shirt: Topman Old (Similar Here) | Jeggings: H&M | Mules: Primark (Similar Here) | Watch: Larsson & Jennings | Hat: H&M  From now on I will be posting on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. So heres a quick round up of my month: I started my blog It was my baby cockapoo Daisy’s first birthday Had an amazing Easter which included winning an egg from Linzi Shoes in their Easter competition. I was also totally spoilt with Hotel Chocolat goodies from my lovely boyfriend! The weather turned amazing and the world turned pink and beautiful with all of the pretty blossom Got to work with some lovely brands including eLCy Clothing and Candy Flower UK Won tickets to the Shoe Box Juke Box party hosted by Next and Company magazine. This also included a free pair of shoes for me and my guest! It’s tonight so expect lots more from instagram on this!!!! Sinead x

    The ‘IT’ Bag

    The ‘IT’ Bag

If there’s one thing that all us girls aspire to it’s to own our very own ‘it’ bag. A piece of the glamorous lifestyles we see in magazines, something that finishes every outfit off and makes us feel a million dollars. Of course the original ‘it’ bag has to be the classic Chanel.. no post about handbags would be complete without it! For most of us the price tags make these just a dream, but the high street is starting to do some pretty great bags with some curiously similar features to designer goodies giving us regular girls our very own slice of handbag heaven! I’ve done some digging and found my favourite high street handbags and paired them with their designer counterparts!   I’m sure there’s some kind of tying trick you can do to make that front bit look the same if you want to go the whole hog! Chanel: SOLD OUT| Zara: £89.99 Mansur Gavriel: SOLD OUT| H&M: £19.99 Chloe: £970.00 | Next: £25.00 Sinead x

    The Relaxed Shirt

    The Relaxed Shirt

I brought this shirt from H&M a couple of weeks ago and it’s so easy to wear that I’ve already had so much wear out of it! I was inspired by a shirt I saw some of my favourite bloggers wearing a few months back that was a similar shape but with red and blue stripes, so I’d been keeping an eye out for something like this and thought I’d hit the jackpot when I saw this beauty! It’s actually called ‘Relaxed Shirt’ which I think sum’s it up perfectly! It’s so easy to wear and the sort of thing you can just throw on with a pair of jeans, I’ve finished the look off with my beige suede jacket that I’ve been dying to wear since winter!! Can we just talk about the weather for a minute?! I love this look with heels for casual drinks or dinner as well. The slightly longer length of it means I’ll also be wearing it in the summer as a lightweight jacket – multi functional! Shirt: H&M | Jacket: Old | Jeans: Topshop | Bag: Zara | Boots: H&M Sinead x

    Spring Style Inspiration

    Spring Style Inspiration

Spring is upon us! All of the new season trends are out; denim, 70’s, fringing, etc, but I generally find myself looking to social media sites like pinterest for my style inspiration. I don’t buy a whole new wardrobe every season as I’m more of a minimalist when it comes to my wardrobe anyway ( as I said before, black, white and grey) so I only buy pieces that I know I’ll love for months to come and that will fit in with what I already have. Therefore whilst I do like to keep up to date with the trends, especially for my job, when it comes to styling my own wardrobe I look to pinterest for new ways of styling old favourites! Here’s some of my favourite looks I’ve found that I will be using as my inspiration this Spring!   You can find all of the original links for my inspirational images on my pinterest boards. My definite spring staple has to be my leather jacket, as soon as the weather turns milder my coats get packed away and the leather jacket makes a strong return! I love the tonal looks, all white or all grey using different textures to create a unique look. No spring inspiration post would be complete without my shopping list for this season! I know there’s some jumpers on there but I do love a good skirt and jumper combo!!
