New in : Urban Watch

Last week I was blessed to receive this beautiful time piece from Urban Watch, with its rose gold finishing and pale pink leather strap this is truly a work of art. You know when you get something new that’s so perfect you can’t even bare to wear it for the first few days, you just keep taking it out of the packaging and looking at it, smelling the leather and turning it over in your hands… just me? oh! This is perfect for me because I love the big watch faces but I’m not a big fan of the chunky styles, so the slim face gives it a more elegant feel without being dainty! The pink strap gives it a real summery feel, perfect for styling with white summer dresses, though hang on.. imagine it with a big chunky jumper! Okay it’s definitely an all rounder! The leather strap makes it super comfy to wear and basically your outfit definitely isn’t complete without it! I’m about to say something pretty controversial here.. I love to mix jewellery. I know you superstitious people out there may cringe at this thought but I’m always wearing a combination of silver, gold and rose gold.. who gives a frig when it looks good? Just see the image above and you’ll see what I mean, don’t worry I wont say I was right, but I was. So seen as we’ve now established that I need a good week of owning something and admiring it from afar before I can take the step of actually removing it from it’s packaging and putting it on, I thought I would do some pretty pictures of it, I think they’re pretty good.

Aura LDN Competition

Aura LDN Competition

So recently I was challenged by the lovely people over at Aura LDN to style this stunning necklace. For me, a serial t shirt wearer, necklaces are key for creating a look and making it look like your not wearing the same as yesterday (guilty). When I first saw this necklace it immediately screamed black dress, red lips and heels. It’s definitely got the wow factor! Then I decided to have a re think and tone it down a bit, I’m not really a super dressy girl, I mean give me the right occasion and I’ll go to town the same as the next girl, but on a day to day basis oversized and comfy is my mantra! I decided to still do an evening esque look that you could definitely wear in the day time with some sandals, and as it was how I would style it, this is definitely more me! I’ve paired my good old faithful H&M menswear t shirt with some silky pyjama esque ( look and feel – seriously soft) shorts. To dress up the look I finished it off with my lace up wedges and of course the piece de resistance – my necklace. I haven’t had a chance to wear these shorts yet as I got them for my holiday, but I am actually loving this look and have filed it away in my memory for next time I want to dress up but still feel like I’m wearing my pyjamas – seriously what’s not to love? If you are as in love with this necklace as I am then LUCKY YOU, because I’ve teamed up with Aura LDN and we’re hosting a competition over on instagram! All you have to do is re post one of my looks with the necklace, tagging both me and Aura LDN in your photograph with a description of how you would style the necklace if you won! Don’t forget to also tag your friends in my post to share the love and help spread the word, and follow both my instagram account and Aura LDN’s account!

Interior Inspiration

Interior Inspiration

I spend a lot more time than I’m willing to admit planning out my future home, I want to buy a house. Not for the security and to get on the property ladder, no, to decorate it. I think in a previous life I must have been an interior designer and if you look at my pinterest boards (I have one for every room) you’ll start to see the full extent of my obsession for interiors. To indulge my love for interiors a little further, I decided to do an interior inspiration post. Now you can share my love for coffee tables, trays and tiles and if your just as obsessed as me (go on admit it) you can follow me on pinterest and we can share our love together! The thing I struggle with and fully spend time contemplating and worrying about regularly, is which style to go for, there’s so many different styles I like and what if I only have one bathroom, will it be monochrome or will it be blue and white?!   All images are taken from my pinterest boards

Festival Blues

Festival Blues

This year I’ve got the festival blues. With Glastonbury kicking off festival season next week there’ll be no avoiding the instagram pictures and facebook posts about what a wonderful time everyone’s having! Not that I’m bitter or anything, but I didn’t manage to get my hands on a golden ticket this year, and there’s something you can’t help but love about not washing for a week and sleeping on the floor. As I was sent some beautiful festival worthy pieces from Candy Flower UK and Ta-Dah I thought I would put together a little festival look with what I would wear if I was going to a festival. We even took a stroll to a nearby field for some authentic photos, how lovely. Obviously no festival look would be complete without a flower head band, it’s practically festival uniform. This lilac one is from Candy Flower UK, I love it because it’s made from wire and ties with a ribbon which means you can make it sit perfectly on your head! I’m still not over this denim skirt so I’m afraid you’ll have to brace yourself for many more outfits including this to come! For my favourite denim skirt’s have a look here. I’ve paired it with this super light and floaty crop top ( I think it’ll also be great for holiday!) which I’ve layered over my striped bralet (which is actually in the sale at the moment here!). Face gems are so pretty and fun to wear but personally, I’d never have the guts to pull them off in real life situations! That’s another reason why I love festivals, you can wear things like this and it’s normal, it’s probably vanilla compared to what other people are doing to their faces! Top: Stalf | Bralet: eLCy Clothing | Skirt: Primark  | Boots: M&S Old | Headband: Candy Flower UK | Face Gems: Ta-Dah | Arm Cuff: Ebay

Day to Night

Day to Night

A couple of weeks ago I went to visit the STALF studio, I met the beautiful owner Paris and got to take a peek at her super stylish studio. I came away with this cropped polo top, which is perfect for me as you know – I love basics! The main thing I love about basics is that there’s so many different ways to wear them! You can dress them up or down and wear the same thing over and over without people noticing ( I hope!). STALF is the perfect destination for you if your a lover of basics like myself! They only run a limited number of each line which makes it feel super special, and all products are one size so no umming and arring about what size you are. The best bit is that they’re all made by hand in the UK, even the fabric is made in the UK! As this style is super versatile, I’ve been living in it recently and thought I would show you how I’ve been wearing it with a day to night look!   I’m loving this STROEM design ring at the moment! I went to visit the lovely Marie who makes all of the jewellery herself by hand last week and came away with this ring. It’s so different to anything else I have or that I’ve seen. Because of the style I can wear it on any finger as well which is perfect for me as I love layering up my jewellery!   Day Outfit Details: Top: STALF | Jeans: Topshop | Ring (left): Cradle Jewellery | Ring (right): STROEM Jewellery | Sunglasses: Old| Watch: Larsson & Jennings | Shoes: Next | Bag: Zara Night Outfit Details: Top: STALF | Skirt: H&M Old | Shoes: Primark | Necklace : JJDR
