Triangl

So this week I decided to give up waiting for sunshine in the UK ( when I’m not at work – typical!) and waiting for my holiday in August ( too far away) and do a post on my new Triangl bikini. I arrived home from my trip to Spain to this beautiful piece of perfect swimwear! If you don’t know about Triangl already there’s honestly no hope for you.. where have you been? Colourful, neoprene and oh so stylish it’s the ultimate swimwear brand, be seen in one of these poolside and you’ll earn serious style kudos! Not only was I lucky enough to be gifted one of these beauties, but I got to choose my favourite style. After spending far longer than I’d like to admit deliberating over a style I decided to go for the new range of crochet bikinis. Crochet and neoprene.. do they go your thinking? It does sound strange I’ll admit, but honestly it works! I chose this shape because I always find it more flattering for my shape and the snug fit of this is perfect, ride any water slide and this baby’s not moving an inch. Because I had to shoot this inside due to the good old english summer, I decided to spruce up the borders with somewhere I’d rather be – the beach. I’ve styled it out with another of my charity shop finds, a cream embroidered kimono, my favourite sunglasses and did I mention you get this co-ordinating neoprene beach bag with each bikini? Lace Up

Lace Up

Unless you’ve been living in a hole this past few months you must have noticed that most things ( the best things) this summer come with some form of lace up on them. Dresses, all forms of footwear, where there’s a will there’s a lace up. I’ve dived in head first and embraced the lace up trend this week with my sister’s new H&M dress ( thanks Lauren!) and my beloved Next lace up heels. This is actually a cover up but I’ve put something underneath to maintain my modesty! Personally I think it’s far too pretty for a cover up, at just £9.99 from H&M it was a steal, unfortunately for you and me it’s now sold out, but not to fear, I’ve been trawling the web to find some look a likes. You can thank me later! I always think jewellery is key to finishing off the outfit and these minimalist pieces from  Cradle Jewellery, a jewellery designer based in New York,  are perfect for me! They’re really simple pieces which makes them super easy to wear.. they go with anything! I love the rings, I got a midi ring and a normal one, they work perfectly together! I’m also an absolute rebel and love mixing silver and gold jewellery ( sorry if this makes you cringe you weirdo)!   Dress: H&M  | Shoes: Next | Earrings: Cradle Jewellery | Bracelet: Cradle Jewellery | Ring: Cradle Jewellery | Midi Ring: Cradle Jewellery | Sunglasses: Bali

Boyfriend Tee

Boyfriend Tee

My absolute style staple that I can’t live without is my favourite white t shirt, courtesy of H&M menswear! As someone who appreciates a good white t shirt, I have to admit that I pick up my favourite pieces in the menswear section. This is my favourite boyfriend tee, the linen mix means the fabric has a marl effect look which is slightly see through, but not too much! Mens tees just fit so much nicer in my opinion, I’m someone who prefers loose clothing, so mens t shirts are perfect as they aren’t fitted. Womens t shirts always seem to be made of uber stretch material with a fitted shape and it just doesn’t do it for me! I’ve dressed it up with my gorgeous new elilla Jewellery layered gold necklace and pearl ring, delicate gold jewellery is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit! I love my new Next lace up wedges, I’m not usually a wedges kinda gal but these ones are an exception! These paired with my leather look Topshop jeans give a plain white tee a smarter look.   Get my Brown and Berry bag now for just £149.00 whilst it’s still on offer! Offer runs out on 30/05/15! T Shirt: H&M | Jeans : Topshop | Wedges: Next | Bag: Brown and Berry | Hat: H&M | Watch: Larsson & Jennings | Ring: Elilla Jewellery | Necklace: Elilla Jewellery

White Inspiration

White Inspiration

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but white is EVERYWHERE at the minute! I know its a timeless colour that goes with anything and there’s always some variation of a white trend in stores each summer, but this year I feel like there’s even more than usual! To help you ( and me) to see how white can be worn, I’ve put together some of my favourite images courtesy of pinterest! I’ve also made a little white wish list! I personally LOVE the image above of the oversized white dress and knee high gladiators. I’m all about oversized clothes and I think that tan and white sit together like two peas in a pod!   When I think of white in the summer, I think of beachy hair and light flowing fabric ( see picture on right), but ( see picture on left) white works so well with structure, making the most beautifully tailored pieces.         1- Ear Jackets – Raquel Leila | 2- White Jeans – Topshop | 3- White Dress – H&M | 4- Lace Bra – Elcy Clothing | 5- White Smock Top – H&M | 6 – Snake Lace up Pumps – Topshop | 7 – Leather Messenger Bag – Zara | 8 – Bracelet – Raquel Leila

Denim Skirt

Denim Skirt

I hope you’ve all had a lovely bank holiday! I always think the first bank holiday in May officially kicks off summer so from here on out, I don’t care if its sunshine or raining, I’ll be wearing sandals or skirts or both! Bearing this in mind I thought I would do this post on one of this season’s must haves, the denim skirt. There’s lots of different styles around, I was in the process of deciding which one to purchase when I set eyes on this absolute bargain from the one and only Primark! At £10 it’s easily mistaken with the Topshop and River Island styles! As it’s one of the most popular items of this season, I thought I would do a post on how versatile it is. When a piece of clothing is as versatile as this it’s practically an investment! I’ve put together a few looks including a smart-ish look, a casual look and a night out look! Shirt: H&M | Watch: Asos | Boots: H&M | Skirt: Primark T Shirt: Topshop | Necklace: Asos | Sandals: Topshop | Hat: H&M Old | Skirt: Primark Jacket: Asos | Top: Missguided | Mules: Primark| Skirt : Primark My favourite look has to be with the Missguided crop top, I hadn’t really considered wearing it out in the evening until I did this post. I think it looks really nice against the white crop and I’m sure you’ve already noticed how much I love this jacket! Here’s a list of some of the denim skirts on the high street, mine is from Primark at £10. Topshop – £28.00 | Zara – £29.99 | Miss Selfridge – £25.00 | Asos – £28.00 | Boohoo – £15.00 | River Island – £35.00
